Courses

Students from the Basic Professionalizing courses take part in internal and external events, aiming to improve their several professional competencies/skills, as well as their interpersonal relations. They can also choose to take part in extracurricular activities, which aim at sports practice, participation in cultural games and human and religious formation, happening on Saturdays at the Organization.

Residential Electricity

Duration: 1 year
Public: Youngsters studying the 6th year of Elementary School
About the course: About the Course: At the Industrial Electricity course the student deepens their knowledge about the work of electric engines (direct current, single-phase and three-phase motors), as well as learning how to handle several electric and electronic equipment. In addition to the specific content, the student will have a deepening in the programming language and robotics, Portuguese, English, P.E., Math, Science, Religious Formation, Human Relations and Informatics.

Industrial Electricity

Duration: 1 year
Public: Youngsters studying the 7th year of Elementary School
About the course: About the Course: At the Industrial Electricity course the student deepens their knowledge about the work of electric engines (direct current, single-phase and three-phase motors), as well as learning how to handle several electric and electronic equipment. Basic Informatics

Duration: 1 year
Public: Youngsters studying the 8th year of Elementary School
About the course: At the Basic Informatics Course the student will learn the basic concepts of informatics, starting by a good and adequate way of typing, identifying all the peripherals of a computer and operationalizing Windows and Linux operational systems. The student will also learn how to share network files, edit texts, calculation plans (graphics, data insertion, working with formulas) and notions of accounting (debit/credit; assets/liabilities; making a little balance sheet). Besides all that, the student will also have a deepening in Portuguese, English, P.E., Math, Science, Religious Formation and Human Relations.

Applied Informatics

Duration: 1 year
Public: Youngsters studying the 9th year of Elementary School
About the course: At the Applied Informatics course the students learn how to program in different languages, database, operational systems and the management of e-mails. They will also develop skills to learn and interpret electronic schemes through practical experiences in the lab. The student will also learn notions of administration, marketing and accounting. Besides all that, they will also have a deepening in Portuguese, English, P.E., Math, Science, Religious Formation and Human Relations.

Maker – Creative Lab

Duration: 6 months
Public: Youngsters between 14 and 17 years old
About the course: In the course of Maker the student will learn in a practical way to use the newest technologies in the market such as 3D Printer, Laser Cutting Machine, virtual reality gadgets, movie production, among many other equipment and software while developing and enhancing important skills such as creativity, teamwork and pro-activity. Throughout the journey in the laboratory the youngsters will work in several phases until they get the final stage, which consists of the development of a project to benefit the community where they are inserted.
